Why did you apply for a VELUX scholarship?

Young people in Slovakia don't get many opportunities to study abroad because it's too expensive.

But I got the chance and it has always been a dream of mine to study abroad. I'm so happy to be here.

 What's you oppinion of EA Kolding?

I just said ”wow”, when I saw the school for the first time. It's grand, beautiful and has lots and lots of windows. My school in Slovakia is so much darker. I also like the classrooms – instead of sitting in a big auditorium with 200 students. The teachers are very friendly and they know our names. When one of them said ”Stella” for the first time I was so surprised and glad.

How do you think the stay here will improve your future?

It's special to have been abroad and a good thing to have in your resumé. I'm sure the stay here in Denmark will be a great help, when I have to look for a job back in Slovakia.

My chances will have improved.
